Essex Police have benefitted greatly in the last 12 months on advice, guidance and services provided by Susan Pattrick and her company SMP Consultancy.
I had the good fortune to meet Susan at an Access Group Meeting involving Essex Police. During this meeting Susan demonstrated great enthusiasm and knowledge to assist Essex Police in understanding some of the issues that disabled people face on a daily basis.
Following this initial meeting with Susan, she was the first person we turned to when Essex Police required some advice on providing better accessibility to our services. This advice resulted in us purchasing 25 Customer Care Packs to deliver to our Front Offices for the use of people with disabilities. Susan was able to advise and provide the goods in a seamless transaction. Delivery was carried out personally by Susan with an excellent explanation of what we had received and how we should use the goods.
I was extremely impressed with the service from start to finish, and would definitely recommend Susan and SMP Consultancy to others.
More recently Essex Police launched an Emergency Text Service for Hearing and Speech impaired people who work, live, or travel to or through Essex. Without Essex Police having to make a request, Susan advertised the service through her newsletter. This has assisted a number of people to receive the information and enable them to register for the service.
I will continue to work with Susan in the future to ensure that Essex Police continue to improve in the service we deliver to our communities.
